Written on our fourth anniversary

We are but two Fools,
Treading upon the soil of the World.
But spinning the Wheel
Changes not our fate in the slightest way.

Thou art the Star.
And I, the Moon.
Both breathing in the rays of the Sun.
He gives us Strength.
Then Justice is unveiled.

We are the Hermit,
The Magician, and the Hierophant;
We are the High Priestess.
Together we battle in the Tower
Against the Devil and even Death.

Through Temperance shall we confront
The Judgment courageously.
Mark how the Hanged Man struggles not.
For we are the Lovers in our Chariot
Riding forward toward our destined Thrones.

On Beethoven

Don't turn your back to this,
Or I will condemn you
To the lowest level of ignorance,
Where you shall be tortured
By not ever knowing
What true beauty really is.

Deny the sonic bard,
And I'll shout: blasphemy!
For belittling the musical saint,
The messiah of sounds.
No matter what you think,
His music - invincible!

A Dozen Roses

A dozen roses
Red in the center,
White all over.
Angelic snow
Lies restfully
On the fertility greens.

Alas!
The savior has returned!

Alas!
The broken body healed!

Gone!
The evil in our love!

A dozen roses
Red is me,
Survived the dead.
Angelic love
Stood patiently
Awaited for my recovery.

Villanelle

1 Fear not the brutal stabs into the mind
2 Though it kills too blindly and too coldly
3 For your thoughts and words shall soon be refined.
4 Every single thought is one of a kind
5 Guide that light to perpetuality
6 Fear not the brutal stabs into the mind.
7 Let not norms and rules make thoughts so confined
8 Free the angels of creativity
9 For your thoughts and words shall soon be refined.
10 Red ink will strike and then you will soon find
11 T'is only for better never for worse
12 Fear not the brutal stabs into the mind.
13 To the purest stage you will rewind
14 View the world with a brand new vision
15 For your thoughts and words shall soon be refined.
16 By then the light will have been redefined
17 As you stand awaiting the fatal strike
18 Fear not the brutal stabs into the mind
19 For your thoughts and words shall soon be refined.

Note: A villanelle is a lyrical poem formed by five tercets and one quatrain. It's unique in its repetition of the first line in the 6th and 12th; the third line in 9th and 15th; together again forming a closing couplet for the poem. Again, the attempt to write it in iambic pentameter is not yet smooth enough. But all the others are strictly followed.

Shakespearean Sonnet

Through thou charming glaring eyes I see light
That neither have nor will I ever see;
As candies bring a happy child much delight,
Sorrow will pack up bitterness and flee.
To see the light alone is enough joy;
To see it with a smile doubles the pleasure,
I say to thee be everything but coy,
Fortify thy charms with gifted treasure.
Look beyond what thou are visualizing,
Search everywhere in thou enpowering heart,
Have the mind awake to a realizing,
That the light and the charm will never part.
So look into my eyes and tell me this:
That all will bloom and blossom with a kiss.

Three Verticle Lines

Three lines mar the place of beauty,
Even in sleep.
The left and right, forever at war,
Thus flexed, build a wall between themselves
Three Vertical Lines, trenches where you hide your real face.
Forever at war with the inner, forever in intercourse with the outer.
Trenches of war that will only deepen with the years.

Smooth them now, while still in your youth.
Descend from your Ivory Tower, that proud intellectual edifice.
Mind.
Manufacturer of words.
Descend, down, down past your beautiful lips, your tongue, the delicate curve of your throat,
The mechanisms of your 2-sided (oh-so-crafty) word-craft,
Down.
Unlock the vertical bars and steal in quietly, both as guest and master of the house.
Enter into the gentler, quieter parts.
Please lay down your weapons,
Those Three Upright Lines.
And enter into the humbler parts, and rest.
Even if only for a while.
