Our love has thus blossomed two years and one
'Tis a lie to say no battles were won.
The flag has no meaning without its pole,
Like a walking torso without a soul.
The thorns of a rose define its beauty,
Cold chilly winters make spring more plenty.
The sour peels that keep the cherries sweet,
The gruesome tyrant trains the strongest fleet.
Uncovered the veil that blinded my mind,
Can any other be ever so kind.
May this be the last as lovers to feast
Memory shall be permanent, at least.
Your noble tenor voice keeps me sane,
And thus my pen will never dance in vain.

Shakespearean Sonnet
Through thou charming glaring eyes I see light
That neither have nor will I ever see;
As candies bring a happy child much delight,
Sorrow will pack up bitterness and flee.
To see the light alone is enough joy;
To see it with a smile doubles the pleasure,
I say to thee be everything but coy,
Fortify thy charms with gifted treasure.
Look beyond what thou are visualizing,
Search everywhere in thou enpowering heart,
Have the mind awake to a realizing,
That the light and the charm will never part.
So look into my eyes and tell me this:
That all will bloom and blossom with a kiss.
That neither have nor will I ever see;
As candies bring a happy child much delight,
Sorrow will pack up bitterness and flee.
To see the light alone is enough joy;
To see it with a smile doubles the pleasure,
I say to thee be everything but coy,
Fortify thy charms with gifted treasure.
Look beyond what thou are visualizing,
Search everywhere in thou enpowering heart,
Have the mind awake to a realizing,
That the light and the charm will never part.
So look into my eyes and tell me this:
That all will bloom and blossom with a kiss.
